I returned a few months ago from teaching english in Korea. I was there for a year and had a great time. That being said, I suffered many ups and many downs and it was definitely a challenging time for me. If you're ready to make tons of sacrafices and have a truly challenging adventure, you'll have a great time. But, if you're looking for easy money instead of a life experience, you might not wish to take part in the adventures of Korea. Keep in mind however, this is based on my own personal experiences and personality.

Hi!

I've taught in Korea and had a very good experience. There are lots of opportunities, the pay is good, and the accomodations are quite good.

I am from the US and I used a Canadian agency called Footprints Recruiting (please tell them Joyce Fischer referred you, if you decide to use them). You can also see lots of good positions posted on Daveseslcafe.com.

If you have any other questions about teaching in Korea, please feel free to let me know.
