Expecting everyone will "check in" here and say hello? Hope the fall term has gone as well as possible for all of us, and we now have spring term just around the corner. (Just looking at the school calendar today, as I will be planning the next term soon. Anyway, only 5 weeks and 2 days til the spring half-term break! Now that's something to look forward to!) Anyway, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year to everyone.

Hope everyone has a great Christmas and New Year! This term has gone well (for the most part) and am looking forward to things getting a bit easier in the new term.

Yup, has to get easier, considering that we won't unlearn everything we've learned this semester (marking, etc). Have to say I was happy to get lots of cards (27!) and gifts from students/families (bottles of wine, pampering kits with lotions and such, boxes of choccies, and the like). And the kids did a fantastic job decorating the tree in my room, and the room in general (there must be 200 snowflakes, and I think their enthusiasm has brought on the real thing -- we have snow predicted for 5 of the next 8 days!). Anyway, lovely to have a term over with. The next one is so short, too -- looking forward to that one. Merry happy days, everyone.
