When would you say the earliest date to get an interview/offer from a school would be?

I believe the good folks at Bluewave told me that most schools interview for the following year in late March. That is certainly when I was interviewed. Good luck.

That said, many schools are in the position to hire mid-year, due to losses for various reasons. My school, for example, is looking for several teachers at the moment. We have lost several this year, and have some temps at the moment.

So, be prepared to get 'the call' at any time! :-D
