Hello. Just wondering if anyone could answer a few questions for me. I am about to finish my dip ed in primary education here in Australia. Currently, my boyfriend lives in Edinburgh and I would love to join him in Scotland. I have already used up my working holiday visa and I am not eligible for an ancestry visa. Is there any hope for me to teach primary school children in Scotland? I am more than willing to do supply teaching. For those that have secured work permit- how many years of experience in classrooms do you need? Any words of advice for securing a work permit in the years to come?
Many thanks in advance.
Kyla

I think that you must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland. Please have a look at the link below:

Good luck!
