Principal or Head Teacher Jobs in UK

I am a school Principal in an elementary school in Pennsylvania. I am origonally from England, but came to the US to go to college and stayed. I am now married with a baby boy. My wife is a music teacher. We are considering moving back to England and have a couple of questions hopefully someone can answer:
1: Are there any couples who have been hired in the same town both as teachers?
2: Does anyone know is english schools hire Principals or head teachers from abroad? This is what i would like to do?
