I have a problem!!!

HI!I’m a 23-year old secondary teacher from Austria and I have a problem. I’m thinking to go to the UK and work as a teacher but I don’t have any classroom experience.
I attended the state college of education in Upper Austria and graduated in 2005. My major is English and my minor is Art. I have gained some educational experience since then– yet not directly as a teacher, because it is impossible to get a job as a teacher at the moment – we have way too many in Austria – and you have to wait about four years till you get hired, terrifying isn’t it?
Nevertheless – I don’t give up!!! Does anybody know whether it is possible to get a job as a teacher in the UK without classroom experience?
(I would like to teach German, ESL or Art.)
Thanks!

| Sabrina - Sure it is, schools in the UK take newly qualified teachers from overseas. There are a number at my school. Don't give up! |
