Hi y'all,
From New Richmond...outside Cinti. My brother went to Wright State and loved it, but he wasn't an ed major. I did my undergrad work at Eastern Michigan so I've passed through both your burbs many times... I do like it better over here though even with all the extra stress of learning a new system. I wish you both all the best of luck. Sounds like half of Ohio will be over here before long....cheers.

EnglishTeacher-

Since I have taken at least 8 semester hours of university credit in the last 6 months, I am eligible for a BUNAC work visa... This would allow me to work anywhere in the whole of Britain for 6 months. But, unlike a work permit through a teaching org like Bluewave International where you can only work at whatever institution you are working at... With the BUNAC, you can work in Britain anywhere for as mucha s you want for 6 months... So, if I get the summer job, I'll get that, and would still be able to use that if I get a permanent position at a school... Would have to come home for Christmas in order to get a more permanent work permit/visa through the school...

Go to bunac.org/usa

Well some people must be getting jobs, the English people have gone down by a few and there are new people there, they must not be the chatty kind! I think this is half the fun getting to talk to others who are in the same shoes as you and then those who have gone through this all before. I can spend hours looking at all the blogs of people who moved and getting little tips from each one. Make sure everyone keeps posting!

Not sure what specifics you're looking for, but the entire story, wtihout leving out anything, is on the blog! If I have left anything out, though, let me know? Happy to answer anything I've neglected . . .

Cheers,

Did anyone try and apply for jobs without using Bluewave? It seems really tricky without the representation....

I feel like an internet nazi...always checking to see if anything has happened!

End of May is upon us!
