| Hi Cindi! |
|
Hi Cindi, welcome, English Teacher's blog is the main thing I try to read each time I get online, I love the many updates she's done lately. I got a call today about possible openings, I don't have details, just a voice mail to check my e-mail, but the e-mail hasn't popped up yet! I hope it looks promising! Anyone else have any new updates?
What sort of place are most of you looking for? I wouldn't mind one of the smaller cities or a rural town. For housing I'd love a house share, I think it would be nice to have that support of people who might know whats going on overseas. What are your expectations/aspirations for an overseas placement? |

Aww, thanks you guys! Glad it's helpful . . . but please let me know what else I can provide for info, if there's anything??
Best of luck, as always! I'm keeping everything crossed for you (even my eyes, or is it stress doing that?), and hoping you all get positions soon! Just when you do get the job, remember how badly you wanted them, and don't you DARE run away the first year. TOo many people do. It takes time and it's a nightmare some days, but it gets better if you are willing to work at it. And there are still, every now and again, days when I want to BOLT (but I don't).

Today I had my interview with the Junior Centre in Reading... My fingers are crossed that it works out and they take me on as an activity leader...
Am waiting to hear back about a school in Reading that had shown some interest... And, I have a second interview for a school in Ohio... Did you ever get the email, Jess?
and welcome Cindi! |

Congrats on that interview! That is super exciting!
No word yet for me -- I'm still hopeful!
