Schools across UK
| I have a question about where in particular to teach.Do all schools across UK(England, Wales,Scotland) operate the same way. This is because, when asked where in particular I want to teach, yet do not know much about England.I am coming from America but originally from abroad.Where would be the ideal place, anyone please? |
That's a pretty 'big' question! Schools here vary, as they do in the US -- here there are public, state, private, etc. Also, geographically you might find some areas more or less to your liking.
Best idea is to begin doing some online research on the subject . . . I don't think anyone here (meaning, people who don't know you) would be able to say what you'd like in a position, or where . . . |
| Thank you for your time and reply.Just to be specific, was wondering about whether the hiring and pay is similar in both public and private schools.Does Bluewave recruit for both? |

Check out the pay scale I've just posted . . . the pay is slightly different depending on the country and region, etc. It's all quite clear on the links.
As far as getting the positions, you could ask Bluewave if they do public, state, and private (I want to say yes, but none of us work for BW -- we're just teachers here). |
| Bluewave is a service provided to any school in England which is willing to pay the "head hunter" fees. The teachers get to post themselves for free, but their names and specifics are with held. If the school (any school private or public) sees someone they are interested in, they pay for that information and the initial contact. That's how Bluewave pays its bills and employees. Does that help? |
