Primary and Secondary school schedules

I am likely to be moving to the U.K. to teach in mid August. I am bringing my 9 year old son with me. In the U.S. his primary school schedule conflicts badly with my secondary school schedule. I am a single and very concerned about how I will get him to and from school. Will he need before school or after school care, or will my schedule follow his?
Any help with this concern would be greatly appreciated. |

Just like in the US, schools all over the country run at varying times . . . we can't answer that, not knowing anything about your school or your son's school.
I think your best bet is to contact both schools and find out the schedules.
I'd guess, though, that you'll need before and after school care, as most working parents here do.
