So the pay scale should make sense?

You'll find there's a slew of teachers on here from Ohio, in all categore: some 'waiting patiently,' others arriving soon, and another a teacher here.

Best of luck!

I was a little confused at which line i was to look at on the document..I'm not surprised there are a lot of people from Ohio on here because it is very hard to get a job in Ohio at the moment...i saw one girl from Cincinnati on a different thread.

With finishing my student teaching in Nov..should i apply now and try and get a job for Jan. or wait until I'm done and apply to start in April?

Girl from Cincinnati here...Hiya.

Will you have your teaching license in November? You've passed the Praxis and completed your student teaching ...etc?

Assuming the answers to these are "yes" then there really isn't any harm in putting in the application now. Just bear in mind that MOST jobs (not all) over here are placed in the spring so you may find you application hanging around without any hits from a number of months. Don't panic about that...

Any more question about teaching requirements can be found in the grey box to the right under the heading of "Top Forum Posts" and then "Requirements for teaching here."

Good luck.
