| Just wanted to say THANKS -- I somehow made it through the year! So thanks for . . .
1) for your help as we got settled (mobile phones, private cars, B&Bs, etc),
2) for this forum for all of us,
3) and finally, for all the 'listening' this year, when I'd call from my classroom, on break, ready to jump out the window, but Carly would talk me in off the ledge, reminding me that I was only one flight up, and would just break a leg, and be back to work the next day anyway (okay, that's not quite true). But thanks for everything.
Anyway, the first year ended on Friday with very little fanfare . . . although lots to drink and many hugs and everyone dashing off to begin this 6-week summer break.
To the newbies coming in, best of luck. And we'll be here, on the board, answering and helping as well can.
I'm off tomorrow for US (NM, then ME), then the Benelux, then Ireland . . . and somewhere in there, I have to plan some work for next term (picking up some new courses this year).
