Teacher's Profile

| So, Bluewave accepted my profile. However, when I view my profile, there is a lot of missing information.
I filled out the CV template Bluewave sent me but many of the fields on the On-Line profile are empty.
Do I need to go fill in those fields myself or is Bluewave slowly working on my profile?
Just wondering if there is anything I need to be doing while Bluewave gets a response from my references and I get the "formal" interview call. |

Hi Britmart,
Well, that's a new one to me. When I turned in my profile and CV, Bluewave did a very nice job reorganizing it so it made sense over here but everything was there...at least I didn't notice anything being missing.
What sorts of things are missing? (Obviously, don't tell us the specifics of personal details or anything...) Maybe, (just a guess without knowing details) they are taking out details that are irrevelant or would confuse/turn-off prospective employers over here...?
My best suggestion to you in this situation is to email them and ask. You've probably been in contact with someone at Bluewave, so ask them. Otherwise, try the "ask a question" link in the green column on the left. The people at Bluewave are very nice, very patient, and extremely helpful so asking wont be a problem...
good luck,

Hi Meli,
Once again, I thank you for coming to my aid. :D
Well, my photo is displayed as are the subjects, current location, preferred location, and my candidate number.
However, the summary section is empty. The Teaching Biography section is very short, and the CV & References area is empty except for a link to Reference 1. When I click on the link, a blank page opens up. I've contacted all of my references and they have said they replied to Bluewave's request. And, I filled out the CV template in its entirerity.
I've tried accessing the reference with both Internet Explorer and Firefox.
I was thinking maybe Bluewave hasn't got around to entering my information for the Summary and such...but didn't want to hurt my chances for the coming school terms by neglecting to input necessary informatin on my own.
I did send them a note through Ask a Question.
Thanks Meli. Hopefully, my profile will be up soon and I'll be getting the call. :) |
