Spouses finding jobs
|
|
| My wife and I are thinking and hoping on making the life-changing move to UK. I hope to find a teaching job through Bluewave. My wife has a business degree. Does anyone know anything about spouses finding jobs once in the UK, or the best way for her to look for a job once going over there? Has anyone dealt with this predicament? Any advice or insight would be most appreciated. Thank you very much! |

I think your wife will find it easier to find work since she will be on a spousal visa that won't restrict her as much as you will be retricted yourself. From what I understand your visa will be tied to your job and not allow you to look for other work while here. Her visa is granted so she may accompany you and doesn't have the same restrictions.
I'm sure other may have a bit more information or check out some message boards and ask some questions here http://talk.uk-yankee.com/inde... />
there is a whole section on visas. |

| Ffolkes.....your wife will able to get a job easily because of her visa..you will be restricted to working only at the school that you are contracted to but your wife can work anywhere such as Banks Accounting Firms or n e where fOR thAt matter. Good luck! oh...also, once she gets her national insurance number, she can check online or at your local jobcentre...every town has one plus there are several job agencies in every town. |
