| Hi, I am from Australia. I plan to come to the UK to teach September onwards. I have joined some agencies here and hope to secure a job before leaving (as i plan to travel july/aug). Who can recomend good agencies (ive heard of some dogey ones)? I had a guy from an agency say he may a position in a school for me it only for a term to cover materity leave. The agency pays me he said around 500 pounds a week after tax. It is around the Greenwich area in London (does anyone no this area?, he said "middle of the road kind of school". This is only my first offer do i take first one, even though it is only a term or wait till a year long job comes up? Is it better to get paid directly by the school or agency? Is there many jobs again in jan if i did take a term job? Not sure what to do? Any advice would be great!! |
