If yes, what is the process, do we need to help by school in order to renew?

or the consulate will grant for several years visa for us once working visa approve?

I came over on a Work Permit to teach here. My work permit was valid for 4 years and if I had stayed at the same school there would have been no need to renue it. But work permits are specific for a given school, so if you decide to change schools you will need to renue it.
Hope that helps!

How long did it take to receive the initial work permit once you had accepted a postition?

Hi Brad,
I'm inbound from Cincinnati, Ohio here in the USA. I'll be teaching science in the Luton area. I'm pretty excited (and nervous). Any words of wisdom from your end?

Meli
