Hi, I'm new to this forum. I'm currently finishing my Grad dip in Primary education in Australia. I will be moving to UK (Cambridge) around March 07. Unfortunately, I was told by an agency it would be difficult of me to get enough daily job around that time, is that true?

I will be arriving with a Working holiday visa, but will be applying for a spouse visa by the end of the two years deadline (getting married by then).

Can someone please help put a stop to my confusion.

All help are greatly appreciated :)

Finding Primary work is generally a little more difficult than secondary. The majority of jobs in the Primary sector are available from September and they will be advertised on jobs.tes.co.uk/

Good Luck!

When you say 'daily jobs' do you mean working as a supply teacher ('substitute' when teacher is away)?

I understand that there is always supply work to be had, although I can say for sure in any specific city.

(Meant to say I "CAN'T say for sure" in any given city/area -- sorry for the typo!)
