Hope your trip across the pond was uneventful, and here's wishing the best to you as you begin settling into your new life. :-D Any others making the trip, or just made it, that we can all welcome to England? (I'll be there in just over a week!) P.

Hi English teacher, Yes, I'm here, but my only access to the internet right now is this internet cafe. The keyboard is just enough different that it is taking me longer than usual to type the simplest things (LOL). The land lady at the B&B where I am staying is a very sweet lady, but a bit protective of me. ;-) She did give me a crash course on the money and tipping yesterday and she has directed me to a local restraunt (good value for the money) in a cottage with a thatched roof. I intend to eat lunch there.... To do list: 1)check into apartments on my list, 2)find the bank and see if I can open the account, and 3)call the number for the NI paperwork... So far so good. Flight was great... Meli

"Look RIGHT!" (Unless it's a one-way street.) I'll be there in ten days, so for the next nine, I'm lying in my swimming pool on a big pink float, soaking up the high-90's sun (mid-to-high 30's Celsius). This tan will last through December! P.
