I am a licensed Social Studies and Spanish teacher in the state of Minnesota. I am an energetic teacher and individual who has a genuine care for students and learning. I am good humoured and use it in my instruction making students enjoy the positive energy in the classroom. I am always trying to find new ways to incorporate innovative ideas into my instruction that will make me a better educator..

The fact that I am an immigrant from Spain in the United States, combined with the fact that I work with people from many different corners of the world, I have developed an acute awareness about what it means to learn other languages and other ways of life; I consider myself a multi-culturally ready professional! At the same time I am bilingual speaking both English and Spanish and I am proficient in French.

I am a person who takes initiative and is willing to compromise with other parties involved to reach a common goal. I am not a complainer, I am a solution seeker. I truly try to make everybody who comes into my classroom and workplace feel welcome and comfortable.
