Nanden Pillay's information

I would describe myself as a highly motivated, flexible, caring and hard working person. I am confident of my subject knowledge, the ability to communicate that information with my students and my ability to work as team member and leader.
I have been a secondary school teacher since 1978. At present, I am the Head of the Maths Department and am also responsible for teaching maths and additional maths to students taking their GCSE’s. Previously, I have also taught Science and French at the lower secondary level. I like to fully immerse myself in the school environment and so have also acted as a mentor to new teachers joining the school.
