Marina's information

For the past year I have been supply teaching all over London. I have gained a lot of experience this past year which has made me a more effective teacher. During this past year I took on a reception class for 6 months which allowed me to refine my lesson planning and time management skills. I had to be very flexible walking into a term that had already started at a new school. I took on the responsibility of planning for the class as well as working with a Teaching Assistant. I am a patient and hard working teacher. I believe that positive reinforcement is important for behaviour management. I find it very rewarding being a teacher and with my dedication and passion for the profession I know that I can help make a difference in students’ lives.
I believe in life long learning. Education is the key to, not only student success but also, my own personal success as an educator. I am constantly learning and self evaluating, ensuring that I give the students my best every day. Some practices that I value everyday in the classroom are; student centred lessons, developing lessons that students can relate to and staying positive, helping students build confidence in themselves and their work.
