Colleen's information

I am a recent graduate of Marist College (Poughkeepsie, NY). I have obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History, Secondary Education and Psychology. I have also passed all three of my Teacher Certification Tests (ATSW, CST and LAST).

During my college career, I had the opportunity to participate in the Marist Study Abroad Program during my Fall 2006 semester. I chose to study in London, England through the Foundation of International Education (FIE). This opportunity exposed me to the unique and wonderful culture of England and I have been anxious to return and live there ever since. My time in England was definitely a great learning experience and I feel that having a chance to teach there would be extraordinary. Living in England will enhance my knowledge and experiences which will in turn, help me to become a better educator. I believe that the only way to really learn is to never stop having new and exciting experiences and that is exactly why teaching in London is an aspiration of mine.
