Tony's information
Tony completed his Bachelor of Education in England in 1998 but held a Diploma of teaching from New Zealand since 1981. During his teaching career, Tony has worked in New Zealand, United States and England providing him with a wide range of teaching experiences.
For nearly 10 years in total (1986-1990 & 1992-1998) Tony worked at Thomas\'s London Day Schools, England and held a number of positions of responsibility including Head of Mathematics, Head of ICT and Form teacher. Upon returning to New Zealand in 1998, Tony has further developed his career and is currently the Headteacher of a primary school, which is a small rural school with 97 pupils ranging in age from 5 through to 13 years. He has an extremely strong focus on Environmental Education, having national recognition for the work they have done in this area.
Tony brings with him to your school his strong leadership skills and his specialist focus on Maths & ICT. His passion is teaching the older students but he is flexible about which class he teaches. Moreover, Tony is happy with a straight teaching position should you school not have any positions of leadership available.
