Teaching Biography

Matthew's information

I am currently completing my masters with certification program in the social sciences at the University of Illinois. I am currently teaching US History, Western Civilization, Economics and Business Studies/ICT. I have taught world cultures, sociology and geography during my masters program. I have taught in both urban and rural school districts. I also have been fortunate enough to work with both high achieving students and students with learning difficulties. For all of these subjects and different students I have been able to adapt and adopt universal design principles for all of my lessons and pride myself in meeting standards and teaching in a dynamic, challenging and engaging way to my students.
