For the past 23 years I have been teaching in the public schools in Florida. I have mostly taught health education and physical education

My career as a teacher is rooted in my philosophy, presenting the material in a manner that is relevant to the student’s goals and a successful future. By doing this the students tend to appreciate the course and understand why it is being taught. Also I have experienced less disruptions and behavioural problems from the students, because once they understand the concept of why the course is being taught they are more interested.
