Vicente's information
I started being an educator as a Boy Scout Leader and a recreational instructor when I was only 17. All over through college I was always linked to an elementary school working as a substitute teacher and a lunch time recreational instructor.
When college was over and - I got my degree in English Philology and pedagogical accreditation - I started working professionally, first teaching English to children aged 2-14 using the TPR (Total Physical Response) method and then in a Vocational Training school teaching several subjects connected with languages and humanities.
I was working for Abat Oliba (Universidad San Pablo-CEU) a prestigious College teaching Ciclos Formativos de Grado Superior (2nd Technical College). There I taught English for specific purposes like Marketing, Enterprise Management and Finance for eight years.
I have been teaching English in other High Schools and language schools like Colegio el Salvador, AVEM or Salesians de SarriĆ , the last one I worked for in Barcelona.
Then I moved to the USA, where I have been working as a foreign language teacher for the last three years. Since my cultural exchange is over I want to continue enriching myself and others in the UK.
All through my career I have had the opportunity to work with different kinds of students of all ages (2-60) either as a Private Tutor, as a recreational instructor, or as a school teacher. Although I am not a special educator, I have also had the opportunity to work with handicapped children and children with learning disabilities.
