Teaching Biography

Paul's information

I recently completed a 7 week practice teaching placement at Joseph Brant Elementary school in Brantford, Ontario. I assumed all the responsibilities of the grade 7/8 teacher. During this placement I was able to construct my classroom management plan and teaching philosophy. I was extremely involved in the extra-curricular activities in the school such as coaching the Volleyball teams and assisting with the school\'s fundraising program.

In February and April I am completing a 7 week placement at Paris District High School in Paris, Ontario. I will be teaching History and Law in grade 9-12 classrooms. In May I am completing a 1 month International Teaching Placement in rural Kenya, Africa. I will be placed in either an elementary or secondary school.

Prior to my formal teaching experience I was a camp counsellor for several summers at an outdoor adventure sports camp.
