I believe that I should be considered as a suitable applicant for a post as I have a wealth of skills, knowledge and experience in the field of Technology and Education within the school and post-school sector. Both as manager (HOD) and teacher I consider myself to be a good problem-solver and a visionary; I am flexible and adaptable and have the ability to manage people and projects with ease. I understand the role of research in formulating policies for change and growth as well as how to implement them and create action plans.

The assurance of quality, value and practical application are key principles that I adhere to. I do believe that I am able to visualise education from a micro and macro perspective. I am able to work on my own as well as part of a team. I am committed to change and growth and embrace the opportunity to liaise with a diversity of people from various cultural backgrounds. I am computer literate. I would welcome the opportunity to be part of a development team which would play a significant role in the education of young people in a modern English society. I would find it a challenge to broaden my knowledge and expertise by applying my skills, knowledge and experience gained from my growth in a South African educational and technological context to that in England.
