Robert's information

I have urban and suburban teaching experience with a variety of socioeconomic students. I grew up in a bustling city and have travelled to a lot major cities with in the US, Europe and the Caribbean. Each of the places I have been I have learned about the people there and the similarities as well as differences concluding to the coined phrase for my self and my students that “Differences are OK”.

I offer an alternative approach within a traditional model. I worked within a traditional model and still was able to put an innovative touch engaging students. I have great transferable leadership abilities empowering students to be leaders within their learning community. In creating small opportunities for students to lead they learn how to trust themselves and take risk building confidence.

I can work with a wide variety of people and pick up new curriculum as I have done in the last couple of years. I have used recycled materials to create over sized polyhedrons bringing my creativity to the classroom. In all my placements I created great relationships with colleagues with many of them I am still in contact with showing I have great interpersonal skills to offer.
