Teaching Biography

Andrew's information

I am a Ba Hon’s graduate with 7 years teaching experience in secondary education, including Cambridge IGCSE, the International Baccalaureate the English National Curriculum and my own ‘In house’ curriculum projects. I am a solid classroom practitioner and have worked in challenging schools in the UK and am at the moment working in a well respected independent international school in Prague. I am currently a subject specialist in History and also teach Sociology as well as coordinating the IGCSE programme within the school. During the last four years at my current school I have spent two very rewarding years as Secondary Coordinator and have gained considerable management experience in the large scale redevelopment and growth of the school in recent years. I am looking for a position where I might continue my professional development in a new and different environment, whilst making good use of my current skill set. I would like to work on expanding my own subject knowledge and perhaps take on a few new challenges along the way. I can offer a wide range of experiences, dedication, enthusiasm and a commitment to contribute fully to the life and growth of a school.
