Teaching Biography

Annie's information

As an art teacher, I will be certified to teach K-12 grades, so I have been sudent teaching in two very different schools to experience the different age groups. I started at St. Joseph\'s Catholic school, which is small, conservative private school that has K-8th grade students. The students range from middle to high class, and are actively involved in the church and community. My second placement has been at North Oconee High School. It is a very big, new public high school. I have been teaching every different level of art, including AP. And I have been teaching 9th-12th grade students coming from all different walks of life. Most of the students come from low to middle class homes. Both schools have been good experiences, but differ in many different areas from classroom management policies to family involvement.
