Joanna's information

In February 2004, my husband and I relocated to Columbia, South Carolina, where I took on two part-time music teaching jobs for two different schools. In the autumn of 2004, I taught music in Orangeburg Consolidated School District #5, namely at Dover Elementary School, North Middle/High School, and Bowman Elementary School. My home school was Dover, where not only did I compose their school song, but I also created an after-school choral program with 8 to 10 year olds. The Singing Eaglets Choir is my pride and joy. Students must pass strict curriculum and behavioural requirements as well as a vocal audition in order to be accepted as a member. Several of my students have been accepted as members of the prestigious South Carolina Elementary Honours Choir over the four years I’ve taught in that position.
