Susan is currently the Director of Special Education for the Wyola School District in Montana, USA. With over 20 years experience in Special Education in both mainstream and specialist schools; Susan has a wealth of expertise to offer her new school. To enhance her experience, Susan is also highly qualified holding a Masters in Emotional & Behavioural Disabilities.

Susan has been employed by the Wyola School District for the past year as the Director of Special Education. When she arrived, She found that the paperwork was not completed appropriately and she had to work many extra long hours to bring all the IEP files up to state standards. She has also worked closely with the Office of Public Education in Montana to improve services to students and recruit new teachers to the state through her volunteer work on the state brochure and website. The students relate very positively to Susan, as she has the ability to “speak” their language. She is a diligent and hard working teacher creating interesting projects introducing new themes which broaden the student’s cultural and historical perspectives. She started a service club for students as an outreach to the community. She is also a team player and quick to volunteer to serve on committees.
