Documentation CheckList
The regulations for working in the UK require that you have available a number of documents as outlined below. Ensuring that you have these is an important part of your application. Once you have collated these documents it is advisable for you to save them to a disc and bring them with you to the UK. You will be asked to present this information every time you apply for a teaching post. Please also keep your original documents safe and in good condition.
Step 1
Send the following documents to us in the first instance so that we can assess your application:
- Curriculum Vitae / Resume
- Photograph
- Teaching references/testimonials
- Student evaluations (if appropriate)
Step 2
- National Criminal Convictions Clearance
- Personal Identification - Passport
- University Certificates
- University Transcripts
- Visa
All these documents must be forwarded to Bluewave as soon as possible and as demonstrated below are part of our statutory duty to be completed before you arrive in England.
So you're considering teaching in England? That's a great move. I have taught in Ghana and Canada and now teaching in England, thanks to the impeccable process Bluewave International took me through. I will stick out my neck to recommended Bluewave to any teacher who wants an international teaching experience, or even wanting to migrate to teach in England (and I believe the will do same for all other countries where they have established their hold)
Now for you who want to employ the services of Bluewave: Gather all of your documents, because when they start, there is no stopping till they get you there. You can help yourself by gathering all the necessary information they will require from you.
Bluewave International - "Connecting teachers and schools". That pretty much says it all. I was looking for jobs overseas on my own and was not having much luck finding job openings or getting interviews for a place I wanted to teach.
